Get ready for the release of the live action movie 'How To Train A Dragon', by creating and sculpting your very own dragon.
(You could keep it as a ornament or turn it into a pencil holder, money box, incense burner, plant pot...the possibilities are endless.)
All you need is your imagination and a sense of humour because my workshops are all about relaxing and having fun whilst being creative.
Before the event, you could plan your dragon by gathering images or drawing them out. Alternatively, you could base yours on one of my examples.
On the day, you will be guided with demonstrations, support and examples, every step of the way, so don't worry if you've never done this before.
You will be able to paint your creation once it is dry.
'Paint your Pot' workshops, are advertised after the event.
Please be aware that I will not be firing your items in a kiln. This is how I keep the cost down for my workshops. However, they can be made waterproof once they have dried and been painted.
Suitable for complete beginners
(ages 10+)
(younger participants may need more support from a parent/guardian)
Whilst the timings are listed as 1pm - 4pm, the end time is flexible to allow everyone to work at their own pace. If anyone is running late, I will provide further individual support once the group are working on the first stage.
Important Info: Venue is wheelchair friendly. The function room is accessible via the garden gate. No need to go through the main door. Free parking.
Bring a medium to large container to take your creation home in.
The club has a bar with light refreshments available to purchase such as tea, coffee, biscuits and crisps. Alcoholic beverages also available.
If everyone could support the Bowling Club by not bringing their own tea/coffee but instead buy them from the bar, it is much appreciated.
*no refunds within 5 days of the workshop*
